We're taking guests on the Lake Winnepesaukee early cruise Columbus Day weekend. Will be getting off the boat in the Weirs around 12:30 and looking for a place to have lunch. I remember a couple of mediocre places in Meredith from a few years ago. Just wondering if there's anyplace in the area that is either a great view with decent food/ great food with decent decor/or some other combination that might make it stand out. We probably will be heading up to Castle in the Clouds after lunch so anything between the Weirs and the Castle would be very convenient.

You might try the Inn which is in Meredith right on the lake and I have heard the restaurant there is very good.

There's Harts Turkey Farm, which is large and a good lunch spot.

Also past Harts and down the hill is another hotel and a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake.

Lemongrass is good for some asian food. And my sister-in-law loves Canoe. She said the calamari was great.
