You might consider the restaurant at Chateau on the Lake or any of the three restaurants at Big Cedar Lake Lodge (Worman House is "fancy" and Top of the Rock has the best view.)
The "Candlelight" restaurant is the Candlestick Inn and Dimitris, unfortunately is gone. What a shame---------it was a wonderful restaurant! Mr Dimitris decided to sell out and make room for the new lakefront development project.

Gum Rai Thai is moderately priced and food is VERY good. we split 2 different seafood dishes and really enjoyed both. They have several desserts, abd that was goo too, but I can't remember exactly what we had. It is in a strip mall across from Walmart on "the strip". the interior is not posh, but we enjoyed it--the walls are bright and they have large paintings of Thai legends. the only negative in my opinion was that they didn't serve beer. the staff were very nice.

Hi,
I live in the Branson area, and I have eaten at almost all the "non-fast food" places. Big Cedar is my absolute favorite - especially Devil's Pool. Drive past the restaurant to park, and be sure you walk across the footbridge. I would definately recommend reservations - it can be pretty difficult to get in. Great atmosphere - very big, lodge feeling with rock fireplaces and great views of the lake. Have a nice trip!
