Restaurant in San Francisco

Many years ago I went to a wonderful restaurant in San Francisco named Donatellos.
I thought it was in the Pan Pacific Hotel.
Is it still there? Now this was about 20 years ago? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Interesting. I'm sure I remember Donatello's, but I was thinking it was right across Post Street from the Pan Pacific in a smaller hotel, almost next door but just to the east of Postrio and the Prescott Hotel. But for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. Meanwhile I looked in Zagat's, but don't see Donatello's listed at all.

Donatellos was in the Pacific Plaza hotel. I do not know if it or the hotel is still there. LMF

That Donatellos that you are thinking of has closed. There is a Donatellos hotel that I think is actually a timeshare now, but rooms are available, but that contintental/Italian restaurant is gone.

dj917: Trying to think of a restaurant that would be similar. Ceaser's in the Marina might do. Not gourmet, but good Italian food. Very large menu. Antipasti, soup, salad, entre and dessert are all include in the price, much like Donatello's. Have a great trip.
