Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I am retreating to Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I was wondering if anyone new of a good restaurant there with maybe some live music to drown my sorrows in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Himmarshee Grill downtown.. BUT your best bet is to check the Sun-Sentinel(on line) FLL's paper... specifically their entertainment section...they always have lots of current info//especially the Friday section.

You probably are not looking at Ft L for beef but... there is an absolutely great place at Riverwalk. .... Nice place... best prime rib you have ever had - promise!! It is the best ! Nice atmosphere and it later turns into a 'club' atmosphere... good music - live. Never had food of this quality that the establishment later turned into a club atmosphere w/live mucis, dancing, etc. Awesome ! Riverwalk is incredible,,, gotta go !! Happy Birthday !!

just over the line into Pompano Beach is Ristorante Del Sole -- no live music but wine comes with dinner - this is a Sunday at Grandma's kind of place --great food and you will be treated like family --

flbron,

That sounds great. What is the name of the Restaurant the Riverwalk or is it called Riverwalk? It sounds perfect.

There are lots of good restaurants along Las Olas Blvd. Also, you may want to try one of the restaurants along A1A...along the beach...that have music and outdoor seating. Mediterranean H2 is one very good one,but there are others as well.
Enjoy!
