Restaurant for Valentine's dinner, Honolulu/Waikiki

It just registered on me that we'll be in Oahu for Valentine's Day. My husband and I like to go out to Italian for Valentine's Day dinner, and this time will have our 15-YO daughter in tow. We'll be staying in a beach cottage in Waimanalo, but could go anywhere around there or between there and Honolulu. It would be great to find a place that is just romantic enough (without overdoing it, for The Kid's sake), traditional fare, nice but not too too fancy, and priced around $20-$25 dollars for an entree. Oh, and takes reservations....

Am I dreaming? Or can someone recommend a restaurant that might fit the bill? Thanks!

I've done a little more poking around. Is Cafe Sistina in Honolulu still in business (I'm asking because I can't get their Web site to work) and good? If so, does anyone know the price range or if they take reservations? Thanks!

It's still there and the prices are in your range.

Or how about Assaggio's in Hawaii Kai? Lots closer to Waimanalo, much more romantic views. plus, you could go to a movie or wander the little shops afterwards.

Or another place with really great Italian is Sabrina's Restaurant on Waialae Avenue. No views, and very simple, but the food is wonderful. Check out the post on sept 19, by simpsonc510 where she talks about the GTG there:

Thanks for the info and ideas, lcuy! I'll read through the reviews of Assaggio in the morning...it does look nice.
Sabrina's sounds great as far as food goes -- but I read through some of the reviews on line earlier today, and I think the slow service would drive me nuts, especially travelling with 15-YO. Pity, too, because the food really sounds terrific.

Thanks for the replies. We made reservations at Assaggio's in Hawaii Kai. They said that there aren't any seats overlooking the water but we'd be near the window by the door. I've read that the big feature of the restaurant is view of the marina, so I hope the food stands on its own (not literally, of course!).
