Rent Tickets on Broadway
I can order tickets through Ticketmaster for Rent for about $62.00 Orchestra Center near front row including service charges. Is this better than trying TKTS and standing in line? Don't mind paying a bit more for the convenience. First trip to NYC with teens who would like to see Rent.

TKTS will probably be a bit cheaper but the seats may not be as good, you'll have to stand on line and they only take cash. Since I've not seen the show, I don't know how important seat location is. Maybe someone else can advise.

If you want to save the service charges, you can print a copy of the Playbill offer and take it to the box office when you get to New York. The show is not selling out, so you can wait until you get here, especially if you're talking about a midweek performance.

The Nederlander is smaller than most other Broadway theatres (at least the ones I've been in). Orchestra is good but I'd avoid sitting in the first three or four rows as they're a bit too close to really appreciate the full scale of the set. I have also seen it from the lower mezzanine (I call it the Loge but not sure if they use that term). Lower mezzanine was actually my favorite place to sit for this particular show.

Thanks, I can get front row center lower mezzanine row AA currently online. I think that is the way for us to go, trying to save enough tourist time as I can!!
Thanks for your input, actually these seats (4) will be a total of $40 less expensive anyway.
