reasonable restaurants in Savannah
I'll be going to Savannah in early March, and I'll be staying at the Hyatt. Are there any reasonably priced restaurants nearby for breakfeast and lunch? For dinner, what good restaurants are within a reasonable walking distance? I've heard some mentioned (Sapphire Grille, Bistro Savannah, etc.), but I don't know how close they are.

At the Hyatt, you are sitting on top of River Street and all its shops and restaurants. City Market (with the 2 you mentioned) is just a few blocks away. The entire historic district stretches before you.
One option for breakfast and lunch that isn't mentioned often on this forum is B. Matthews. Here's a link -

If you will be at the Hyatt and have a sweet tooth, be sure to check out River St. Sweets, they have the best pralines in whole, wide world and lots of other goodies as well. They have location now in Charleston, Atlanta and Myrtle Beach, but the original is right on River St. Maybe a 2 minute wallk.

Good luck with the plan for reasonably priced restaurants. Savannah's historic district is great but it is hard to find inexpensive meals in this area. Just enjoy the experience. I do like the calamari at the Olympia cafe, right next to the Hyatt. It can be a snack or a small meal.
