Quikbook or Expedia ?

Which is the best place to find the best rates and service ? Quikbook or Expedia......Any others?

I always use Expedia. However, I also check with the hotels and airlines directly, as well. Sometimes it's a toss up as to who has the better rates.

For hotels, some Fodorites have posted good luck with Hotelkingdom.com as well.

Use both. Expedia has a wider selection, but Quikbook deals tend to be better. Expedia also take 100% up front.

Check also Orbitz, Hotels.com and the hotel's own website - look for packages. You can never predict which has better rates.

Travelweb is good for research, as well--rarely has the lowest rate you can find, though.
