Question about California. Please look!
Okay i didn't know where else to post this question. This is not a joke. I need to settle a bet! What way does the water flush down the toilet in california? Is it clockwise or counterclockwise?? Again, this is a serious question. Thanks.

It depends on whether it's #1 or #2.
#1 goes straight down, no swirling due to 1.6 gallon flushes.
#2 just sits there for several flushes because 1.6 gal can't flush a darn thing, so depending on your handle use frequency and the current earthquake it may just slosh side to side until you get a plunger. By then it stinks so bad you are not looking, so I guess I really don't know.
Sorry.

I think you're questioning the centrifugal flow, right? Okay, we have one of those jet flushers on our two toilets (seriously!), so it goes straight down and doesn't circle (you need this with the new "low flow" toilets, or nothing of "substance" gets down!). I presume it would be the same as the water in the sink, which is clockwise. We are in L.A., and obviously north of the equater. It's south of the equater where it goes in the other direction.
