Princess or Phoenician?

Thinking of going to Scottsdale for my honeymoon. Which is a better pick - Fairmont Scottsdale Princess or The Phoenician? I can stay in a suite at the Princess for the same amount of money for a regular room at the Phoenician.

I have seen both properties, and have eaten lunch at The Phoenician. I much prefer The Phoenician - but my absolute favorite is the Arizona Biltmore - Frank Lloyd Wright's influence on the design makes it incomparable!

Happy Trails,
Paul

I've stayed at the Phoenician - and it was fabulous - also had VERY nice spa.

Have you considered the Four Seasons Scottsdale? We have stayed there a few times and it would be perfect for a honeymoon. It is a quiet resort with a great spa, nice casitas with gas fireplaces, nice restaurants and a great place to enjoy the environment around you. There are scheduled walks, yoga classes, etc. Can be pricey but well worth it!

The Phoenician certainly is remarkable in it's own right, that's for sure! It is a breathtaking place.

Another thumbs up for the Phoenician. A truly spectacular property where no money was spared in its construction, thank to the S&Ls who bankrolled the project!
