Romantic Scottsdale hotel

My husband and I are planning a getaway in November. We would like to go somewhere warm and heard that Scottsdale is a great place to relax and have fun. We would be interested in hearing opinions about which is the best upscale hotel to stay and tune out the world for awhile. We're not into golf but love to get outside. Thanks for any info.

We enjoyed a short stay at the Sctossdale Fairmont Princess. The grounds are lovely and LARGE. There are four pools and two golf courses. They gym is a wonderful facilitiy.
The only thing is that it's not near anything. They have Town Cars you can pay to take you places, but if you'll be there a while, I'd recommend renting a car.

I have also stayed at the Scottsdale Princess with hubby. We loved it there. Beautiful grounds and rooms. We stayed in a casita room. It was wonderful!

The Royal Palms Resort & Spa - hands down favorite for us!! It is so beautiful - the grounds, the rooms and casitas, the spa, the restaurant. We went for 5 days last December and it was excellent.

There are all sorts of little nooks with comfy chairs and firepits all over the place. You can really wind down.

Get the Rose Petal turndown service for you first night.

Ditto the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess- top notch. Have been there three times. Get a casita if you can afford it. Many pools, many top notch restaurants on the resort. Golf. Spa. Gorgeous grounds. Not far from Sedona if you wanted to drive up for the day.
