Want to have Italian before seeing Sweet Charity at the Al Hershfield Theater. Can't decide between Lattanzi and Orso. Pros and cons? Which would you choose?

it's been years since we did pre-theater dinner..but we did do a POST theater dinner at Orso and the food was TERRIFIC.

Orso feels trendier and attracts celebs but food at Lattanzi is wonderful. I go to both after show so don't know what pre theater is like.

Taggin along this theme, what about Becco for Italian pre-theater? Are Orso and Lattanzi both better?

No matter which one you choose, don’t forget to make reservations! We recently had dinner (pre-theater on a Sunday) at Latanzi – we really enjoyed it. It was 5 of us, and we had no reservations. We had to wait a few minutes and they seated us, but the table though round was a table of 4. Becco was all full and we did not try Orso.

Both are excellent. I'd be hard pressed to pick one over the other. You can't go wrong no matter which one you choose. While Becco is very good, both Lattanzi and Orso are better (and more expensive).

I've eaten at Orso and Becco. Both are fabulous! Orso is quieter and Becco is a little more festive. Food was excellent at both- you won't go wrong with either. Reservations are definitely needed for both.......
