Kimamom, I have some bridge pictures hanging at the Three Degrees restaurant at the Riverplace Hotel. Unfortunately, they are mixed in with prints from other photographers and none of them are labeled. The two most prominent you could identify are: the Fremont Bridge arch seen from below and the vertical picture of one half of the mighty St. Johns Bridge.

Incidentially, all of my pictures are color - but those hanging at Three Degrees were printed in B&W in violation of my license agreement with them! Fortunately the prints look great and I have no qualms about it.

If we go down to the waterfront, I'll check them out. We'll just a few hours in Portland on our way over to our beach cottage in Seaside for a week.

We plan to do some Christmas shopping and have a couple of meals. I'm considering Mother's Bistro for lunch and Hurley's for dinner. Do you have any opinions on those place? ***kim***

Another vote for 5th Ave. Suites. We really liked it.

How is their restaurant there? The Red Star Tavern or something like that? I was advised on another board to try Mother's or clarklewis over this place for a lunch in Portland. We're planning on Hurley's for dinner after we shop til we drop!

How has the weather been lately? We're also hoping to schedule in the Zoo on our return trip back down. (BTW, we're all celebrating here our Measure Z initiative to save our local zoo passed last night with flying colors!! ) ***kim***
