nukesafe, if you go to the Grotto, continue to take the bus east to the Transit center (end of the line). There are some beautiful views of Mt St Helen. It is only another 5 minutes east. I will try to get my trip report posted this weekend.

Thanks for the tip, Gardendiva. Actually, I have been to the Grotto on an earlier trip to Portland, and found it lovely and relaxing, but will certainly go to the end of the line if it is a good day.
