Good Thai-Typhoon on SW Broadway ~

Typhoon is my favorite Thai in Portland and I have been to most of them. My favorite dishes there are the ahi larb salad and the drunken noodles!

There are at least 4 Typhoon's. One is in Gresham, one in NW on 23rd and the other is in Beaverton.

Eroz, we tried to have a beer at walking Man's after hiking Dog Mt. but they didn't open until 3:00 and we stopped by at about 1:00. Next time!

eurotraveler, me too! Our favorite is the Typhoon on Broadway because they do the crispy duck so well.

Scarlett, is is PERFECT today (Thursday)!! It was also nice yesterday. I was out sailing on the Columbia last night and it couldn't have been nicer. Looks like rain is on the way.

I am hoping it holds off because we are heading to the deck at Produce Row Cafe for happy hour tomorrow afternoon!

Eurotrv, so many people have told me that walking man was closed when they went, it's a wonder they stay in biz!

Today was fabulous, we have walked Pup so much, he looks pitiful when I go to the door lol..I just want to be outdoors!

My office is near the fire--and I was there when I saw the news. So I ran up on to the bridge and had some great views. Horrific and awesome all at the same time.

And then the lights went out. We lost power at the office, so that scotched my late-night intenet browsing. But, we were back up by this morning.

eroz, Noble Rot is owned by a friend of mine! Nice place, eh? A few other good restaurants nearby are Taqueria Nueva and Pambiche. Make sure you save room for dessert at Pambiche and be prepared to wait in line!

I do love the Horse Brass but you need a gas mask due to the clouds of smoke!

And eroz, if you do end up at Produce Row tomorrow look for two blonds on the hot deck with cold beers! Or is that two hots on a blond deck with cold beers? Either way, the beer will be cold! We might have others with us. Stop by and say hello!
