Pompano Beach, Florida places to stay in April 2009
I have to go to Pompano Beach, Florida for a training class. There is not much information on places to stay in the area. Should I look for hotels or condos??
Anyone have any recommendations?? Please help I have to go in April, 2009

You could try looking in Ft. Lauderdale. Pompano Beach is just north of FL, practically the same town. There are billions of places to stay there. BTW, the weather is beautiful here now, so good time to visit.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is just south of Pompano Beach. Check with the LBTS Visitor Center--they can steer you to your choice of great venues there. The town is small, has a great vibe, and is, again, right next to Pompano Beach.

There are some timeshares in Pompano that you could rent. Wyndham has three - Sea Gardens Beach & Tennis resort, Royal Vista, and Santa Barbara. I've stayed at Santa Barbara and it was quite nice, though you had to walk a block or two to get to the beach. I think you can rent them through Wyndham's website.

I second Lauderdale-By-The-Sea...it's a lovely little area, with lots of rental possibilities, and very close to Pompano Beach! We go there every summer. The LBTS Chamber of Commerce can provide lots of information. Good luck!
