Sneezy
I've been to Jyoti. It's right near the Willowbrook mall.
Went for lunch and had the buffet right around the holidays.
It was OK.
Unfortunatly Indian Cuisine is only for lunch for me as the wife doesn't like it.

moved to VA 7 years ago and the one thing I miss is the FOOD!!!!! My kids think pizza hut is good pizza...oh the pain! Whenever we go back to visit, we eat and eat and eat and then bring some stuff home in the cooler. My fave foods to eat while in NJ are the Pizza, a decent bagel, taylor ham egg and cheese on a real roll, bakery sprinkle cookie or crumb cake, and the list goes on...How about a real veal parmigiana meal???? It is early in the am and I am starving already! In Va we need some greeks to come down and open a real diner, some italians to come down and open a few delis and bakeries and I would be very happy!

Everytime I look for this thread I posted, I love how the list gets longer and longer!!
Oh wow, Union! what memories. I haven't been to Mario's in over 10 years, but what I can rememebr is that I like it. I used to like to go with my girlfrineds to this stupied place, I cannot remeber the name in Kenilworth...on Michigan Ave. I believe. It was just like a Friday's type place. Just a hang out..not great food.
I also used to love ANgie & Min's on the BLVD. in Kenilworth, but now it is called something else. (I don't know name.)
RICKYB----LA VIGNA........ I love the roasted green peppers they give you when you sit down! Or the numerous daily specials!! I wish I still lived close by.. I havent been there in 5 years!
Thanks again to everyone who posts. I love getting tips from people!

I second Arthurs in Morris Plains...every time I go back to visit, we eat there several times! They have the best french onion soup, no where else can compare. My family is all over the walls in the pictures.
I had a really good meal at Tim Shaeffers (spelling) in Morristown, across from Headquarters. It's one of those great BYOB places.
Girlonthego: I have the same memories of Larisons...we used to go there all the time growing up. Remember the creepy stuffed game/bears upstairs? Kind of a strange combination....
