Please Help me find my "Cliff's Edge" in Kauai
Last year we spent 3 great nights in the Bali Cottage at the Cliffs Edge B&B located on the North Shore of Maui:

We loved our private bungalow and the view almost brought tears to my eyes.
We're spending 4 nights on the North Shore of Kauai next April (April 30 - May 4) and I'm having a hard time finding something that deserves the same WOW factor as the Bali Cottage. Any ideas? We prefer something in the $300/ish range per night.

How about Pali Ke Kua in Princeville? Here's a sample view from unit#226.

A close match, but a bit out of your price range are the secret beach cottages.

This is also a little over your budget, but well worth it IMO. We spent a wonderful week here. The views out of all the windows and from the deck out to the ocean were breathtaking.

Thank you for all the suggestions. The houses look fantastic but are sadly out of budget.
Julie304 - While I was doing research on Pali Ke Kua at your suggestion, I ran across Pu'u Poa and found this condo which I think will be perfect:

Thanks for setting me on the right track!

You might want to reconsider the North Shore of Kauai. I love Tunnels Beach for snorkeling, but unless you like rain I would suggest the south side, ie Poipu area. Many beautiful spots. Check out Grantham resorts for a variety of condo and house rentals for very reasonable prices. Did I mention the beaches. Poipu Beach and Brenickes Beach both offer great snorkeling. Whalers Cove has the best snorkeling. If you want a beach that is long, wide, and secluded might I suggest Barking Sands Beach.

If you were going in winter, I might concur with JAH's comment, but we were on the north shore of Kauai at exactly the same time of year that you plan to go and had great weather. If we did get a sprinkle, it only lasted a few minutes. Actually, we stayed in exactly the same villa as DCD recommended. It was fabulous!
