Places to stay Cape Cod?

Originally planning to stay at Daniel Webster - having second thoughts.

So where would you stay - Daniel Webster; Chatham Bars Inn; Whale Walk Inn; or Captain Farris House? I don't mind paying - but they need to back it up.

Any info greatly appreciated-

We were very happy with Captain's House Inn in Chatham. Lovely house and grounds. My favorite room is the Hiram Harding suite. Home baked scones with clotted creanm for lunch and also very tasty breakfast. Not far from Chatham Bars Inn.

I don't know the difference in the rates .. but first .. I would not stay at the Daniel Webster .. but I would definitely stay at Chatham Bars Inn .. the location alone is absolutely wonderful .. and you are within walking distance to the center of town .. If your budget allows .. a room with a view ... you won't regret it .. !

We stopped for lunch at the Daniel Webster Inn on the way to Chatham. The food and property were nice. Don't know about the rooms. We stayed at the Captain's House Inn in Chatham, it was very nice.

Sorry, don't really know the inns you propose, but I'd definitely stay at the Chatham Bars if I could afford it. My two favorite Chatham places to stay are the Bradford Inn and the Wequassett.

Daniel Webster is wonderful! My husband booked the Jared Suite for my 40th bday (although that was 4 yrs ago), the inn was so cozy and this suite was beautiful. The dining was very good, we also ate at the Dolphin-Barnstable-excellent. The Beehive is also fun for a drink. Chatham Bars Inn is extremely expensive and a little stuffy for us. Beautiful location though and very classy. We stay at the Cranberry Inn-Chatham, walking distance to all shops and restaurants, beautiful inn with a pub and excellent breakast. Haven't been to the other places you reference. Wequasset is also wonderful and Captains House Inn. Enjoy!

Hi,

Daniel Webster Inn is an in-town location, it does not have a beach. Chatham Bars Inn is a resort and has all facilities. Have you looked at New Seabury? Also a resort with multi restaurant options. Good luck and enjoy the beautiful Cape!
