Philadelphia Restaurant Needed ASAP

My boss is heading down to Philly this weekend to visit his daughter who is a freshmen at U-Penn. They want to take her out for a nice dinner on Saturday night. She'd prefer to go somewhere not right around the campus. They're looking for a place with good food that's got a cool/hip atmosphere. I don't know anything about Philly. Please help!
Thanks.

Any of the Stephen Starr Restaurants would fit the bill.

Continental, Buddakan, Tangerine, Pod, Morimoto... etc

I agree. I LOVE Buddakan, but you may be a bit late to get reservations.

Agree with any of the Jose Garces restaurants: Amada, Tinto or Distrito. Unfortunately of the three only Distrito is showing availability on open table for Saturday at 7, but it doesn't quite fit the criteria b/c it's "right around the campus." It is a fabulous option, though, if geography can be overlooked.

I'd take that Distrito rez. There is a lot of buzz about the Distrito opening in University City. If not that, then I'd try to get into Tangerine.
