Kay, use my favorite Search Engine to find pet friendly hotels in D.C.
www.google.com
type in search phrase:
washington d.c. pet friendly hotels
You'll get several websites to check out.
One is the Red Roof Hotel in Georgetown.

I recently stayed at the Carlyle Suites with my boxer (and my 15-yr-old son), and it was a great trip for all of us. The hotel advertises on their website that they welcome pets, and in fact they do - no extra charge, no hassle. My alternative was to board him for 3 nts (for a one-night trip) so this was obviously cheaper. The hotel is in a great location just off Dupont Circle. Rooms are okay - ask for a corner room on an upper floor for most light. They include furnished kitchenette w/refrigerator, stovetop etc. For more info on the hotel search 'Carlyle Suites' here . . . I'll look up the website and post it as well. Have fun!
They also have a sister hotel in Georgetown, but I don't have that address.
