Petrol prices

Been reading in the newspapers in U.K. that in some parts of the states petrol has risen to nearly $3 a gallon. Coming over to Orlando soon, anyone know what the cost is there?

Gosh, there are SO many threads here at fodors already about gas prices - I'm sure you can find your answer on another existing thread.

Even better than a discussion forum, there are gasoline price tracking websites. I'll try to find one & post it for you.

I'd safely say it's well over $3.00 a gallon even for regular if you can get it most everywhere in the US now.

In NJ we're hovering around 3.49 to 3.79 or more closer to NYC. Has been going up a few cents every few days since Katrina hit.

In the South we're hearing of more shortages. I'm sure some other Fodorites will report on Gas prices in FL.

Or another way to put it, Marrion -- petrol will cost about half what you're used to in the UK.
