Park City trip pls help!

Hi, I'm tryin to book thru VRBO for seven people last wk of March. Anyone know if this site is good, and which others I can use and trust? Any suggestions on where to stay, most are boarders, not skiiers. I understand Deer Valley only allows skiing. If we stay at the Canyons is it far from the main Park City slopes? Thanks!

Hi Asiachick,

I can't say about VRBO, I've never used them. I understand they are for owner direct rentals. If you want to check for other property management companies that handle rentals in Park City, go to www.parkcityinfo.com. It's a great resource for info.

Yes, DV doesn't allow boarding. The other 2 do. The Canyons is about 4 mi. from Historic Main Street and Park City Mtn resort.

The three resorts in Park City are all close to each other. So if you stay in the Canyons, the Park City slopes are maybe 5 minutes or so away. All have great skiing. The Utah Olympic park is really fun too - you can try ski jumping, take a bobsled ride, etc. It's about 10 minutes from downtown - you pass it on your way into town.

Thanks everyone, I found a place thru VRBO right on Main Street. The site Davidhollands.com also has pretty good rates if you book online and AMEX has nice deals.

We have had good experience with VRBO at Beaver Creek and Breckenridge. A note of caution -- some of the "so called owners" are actually real estate/property management companies trying to look like single owners. However, that can be an advantage because of the company standing behind the property.
