Park City, 3 Kings
Has anyone stayed at the 3 Kings townhouses?
What did you like? What didn't you like?
My preference is a property relatively close to the lifts and with easy access to restaurants, shopping, etc. I would appreciate you help. Thanks.

The 3Kings Townhouses are located on the Golf Course in PC, and very near the Park City Mountain Resort. I would say that it is bout 1/4 mile from the condos to the resort. The resort has some shopping and some restaurants..but is not what I would call easy access to the main shopping and main activities of downtown..old town PC. However, with the Public Transportation System that serves PC, it would not be that difficult to travel back and forth between 3 Kings and old town downtown PC. The 3 Kings are one of the 1st Condo projects developed in PC, and my recollection is that they were built 25 years ago. I have not been inside any of the units for many years...but imagine that are still quite adequate...they are not anything by todays standards that would be called luxurious...but they are certainly adequate. There is really nothing to dislike if the price is right..If you need to be right in the center of the action, then this may not be the place to be..but that said..you are still not all that far from downtown old town PC.

We stayed there this spring and Lucky is right on the mark. They are near the resort, but not really close enough to walk in ski boots for us. They are also close to town, but not within walking distance of main restaurants/shopping, etc. They are, however, on the free bus route, so you can walk from your condo to the road for the bus to either the resort or downtown PC.
The condos themselves were nice. We rented two -- they were connected. Each slept about 6, I'd say. They had nice kitchens, plenty of bathrooms and small, but adequately furnished, living areas. Kitchen had a coffee maker and basic supplies (plates, glasses, silverware, toaster, etc.) Our condos also had a hot tub in the back. They also have covered parking.
Personally, we prefer to be closer to Main Street, so we are not likely to stay there again.

Lucky & Lisa, thank you for sharing your experiences at the 3 Kings. I will take your suggestions and look for a property closer to Main Street.
Where you folks stay in Park City if you wanted to be within walking distance to a lift and Main Street night life?

I've stayed at the Park Station before. Right at the bottom of Main Street, bus stop directly across the street (to Deer Valley or Park City Mountain Resort) and walking distance to the Town Lift (which is now much nicer since they've built a trail that goes all the way down the mountain back to the Town Lift -- you can essentially ski in and out of the Town Lift now). It's on par with 3 Kings, although each unit is individually owned so some are nicer than others. Probably more expensive than 3 Kings, though, due to its location.
