Park City - 2 nights with kids
We will be winding up our 2 week Utah trip (August) with 2 nights in Park City. Kids are 7 and 9. Looking for recommendations on great places to stay. We're open to B & B, hotels/resorts. In town or not? Also, any recommendations on what to see and do?

Hi Humbolt!
I live in Park City and love it! During August there are so many special events going on that you'll have a hard time choosing.
1st weekend in August is the Park City Art Festival. Main Street becomes pedestrian only and about 200 artists are accepted by jury each year out of about 4,000 applicants. Most of the art is very high end stuff, but some is fun and inexpensive. Music & food too.
The 3rd weekend in August is the Park City Jazz Festival. Gets better every year with major headliners and very worthwhile lesser knowns. Outdoors, bring your own lawn chair, picnic & wine! Fri, Sat & Sun
With kids you might want to stay in a condo. Too many to even mention. Hotels, maybe the Marriott Summit Watch or Marriott Mountainside, both great locations with pools.
Activities - whew! Golf, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, water skiing, fishing, an apline slide & a zip line at the PC Mtn Resort base complex (they are a MUST - A BLAST FOR ALL AGES).
Utah Olympic Park - see the aerialists & ski jumpers practice in the summer at the Olympic venues. Best show in town.
I could go on and on. Have fun!
