Ouray, Colorado Restaurants

I'm looking for a really good restaurant in Ouray for a nice dinner.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The Bon Ton is great! It is a steak and seafood place, located below the St. Elmo Hotel (in the basement, but there is an outside entrance)on the west side of the street. Ask anybody in town and they can tell you where to find it. It has been several years since I ate there, but I remember it being very relaxed with low lighting - could be very romantic. They are used to tourists, so don't feel like you have to dress up. Enjoy!

Here is the website:

You should also check out:

Thanks beckers 2482 for the info and the links. The St. Elmo site even has a menu--what more could I ask for?

I had already been to the Ouray site but the restaurant descriptions didn't help much.

Hi, Connie! Here's another vote for the Bon Ton. Durango people will often eat there on day trips to enjoy fall foliage, etc. I think my parents went there last fall and liked it. Unfortunately, I haven't eaten there yet, but it's on my must do list.
