Orlando bound - but these hotels need your thoughts!

Hello - the family is heading to Orlando in May for my son's 7th birthday. We have 4 adults and two children. Through my research I think I have narrowed our accomodations down to three options. Your feedback would be appreciated!! Here are the three choices (thus far...)

Caribe Royale
Floridays
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village adn Spa

We would like a two bedroom or three bedroom with some fun amenities for the down time for WDW like a good pool or playground etc...thoughts? Proximity to WDW sites or others?

Thank you in advance!

Have you checked them out at tripadvisor?

Locations are fine on all three; Floridays being a mile or so farther away than the others from Disney, but closer to Sea World.

I stayed at The Point Orlando off I Drive...convenient location to Adventure Landing and all of the I-Drive malls and events. Has a pool...not a great breakfast...and charges a "resort fee." But, it is convenient, has shuttle to Citywalk/Adventure Landing and are new.

I have checked TA I think in that the confusion abounds...they all seem the same(ish) as you point out. I guess I hoped for clarity - someone raving about one spot to guide me....but i guess if in the end they are all the same(ish) I should be ok with any of the three...fingers crossed...when I return I will give a referral!! Thanks!

We stayed at Floridays 3 or 4 years ago when several buildings were still under construction. The condos were well furnished and the main pool was nice. There was a snack bar with Starbuck's coffee. We liked the location with a trolley stop nearby and a grocery store around the corner. We would definitely stay there again.

I would suggest taking a look at the Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista. They offer a nice comp. breakfast each morning and a light meal with beer/wine weekdays. Just a couple miles from Disney with lots to do in the area. We live in the area and have taken our family there a couple of times. New property also...

I'll be spending the first week of March at Floridays and I'll try to remember to post comments about my experience.
