One night stay in Phoenix - Hotel recommendation?>

Hi Taking a 5 day trip in all. Arriving in Phoenix and driving directly to Sedona. Returning to Phoenix around noon. Need a hotel in Phoenix convenient (not necessarily next to) airport. Will probably visit Heard Museum or Taliesin West. Any recommendations on a nice 3 or 4 star hotel--not five star that's convenient. I'm not great at navigating places I haven't been.

Mucho gracias--Lynn

We liked Homewood Suites in Scottsdale for the spacious rooms, the satisfying breakfast, and the location.

Sheraton Wild Horse Pass. Lovely place, not at all like any other Sheraton I've ever stayed at. Close to airport, and a direct drive there. But a world away. I don't know how it realtes to the other places you are going, but it is great for airport access. ONe of my very favorite places to stay, period.

I'd take a look at www.betterbidding.com if there are 1 or 2 of you. I love Taliesin West. I'd bit on something in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Plenty of 3 & 4 star options.
