One night in Taos

We're planning a one-night stop in Taos between Farmington and Santa Fe. Would appreciate suggestions on a moderate cost motel in town, with parking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Kachina Lodge. You get a full continental breakfast and every night Native American dancers did a performance on the premises. We were able to park our car just outside our room.

Since you won't have far to drive that day, consider a trip to Aztec Ruins NM. It's small enough so that you can appreciate it in an hour, and it's very well preserved. It also has a reconstucted grand kiva that reminds me of an old charter house I saw in Engand. I'm amazed that they were built at approximately the same time.
