one night in las vegas with kids
We are flying into las vegas and then heading to Utah to visit family. We will be there for one night or about 12 hours and would welcome any suggestions for a place on the strip to stay for one night. We want a nice pool for our teenagers, would like to at least see the strip but are not likely to spend much time gambling or even seeing shows.

Flamingo has a great pool area. Lots of flowers, lush garden type. Aladians pool is on the roof, nothing green around. Mandalay Bay has a neat pool/water park area. Was crowded in summer. I like the food area at NYNY, but do they have a pool? Tropicana has a nice pool area, even young people, but not as many flowers at Flamingo. Enjoy walking on the strip and take your water bottles if you go in the summer!

Mirage has a beautiful pool area, although their rooms are just average. NY NY seemed very "kid friendly" to us, but their pool area looked scrunched and unappealing. You realize, of course, that Vegas is quite cool/cold in late fall, winter and early spring. When are you going?
