WELL, FINALLY!!!

Don't understand not having time for Asheville will all the rest you cut off. Amarillo etc. was DAYS.
As I said, I have NO idea of your current "possible" itinerary.

Looks like San Angelo is just an overnight on your way to Amarillo. It is a nice West Texas town with good Mexican food. Drive around the historic downtown area and also along the Concho River.
