OLL to cruise ship
Help!
I will be in Lahaina for a day en route to HNL on a cruise ship. We depart at 10pm but being tendered would have to be back on the tender before 9.30pm, possibly even 9:15pm.
I'm hoping to book OLL and was wondering if we would have enough time to get back to the ship? The show finishes at 8:45pm.
Can I pre-book a cab? Would there be a booking fee?
We will be in Maui staying at Ka'anapali after a few days in Waikiki, but I thought it would help to do the OLL while in Lahaina so we would not have to fit it in with other activities/days out and would not have to drive down.
Any thoughts?

Make reservations for one of the nights you will be in Kaanapali. Its only a few minutes from there.
Its not worth taking a chance that you miss the deadline getting back on the cruise ship.

Thanks elkhound. Unfortunately it's not offered, only Kaanapali Sunset Luau.
Probably the departure timing is too tight as I've heard 11pm departures passengers have been (though don't know if it was a shore excursion).
Maybe it's too popular and bookings have to be made so far in advance it's not viable as a shore excursion???

Vaycee:
We did the OLL in 2003. There were many in the audience who came from cruise ships.
I agree with the advice already given: go before your cruise, or leave the luau early. Your time constraints are too tight.
Enjoy your trip.
