Olive Oil in Napa/Sonoma

Can you recommend the best places in Napa or Sonoma for Olive Oil? To taste, buy and/or production process. Thanks for the help.

We liked the Napa Valley Olive Oil Co. it's just outside St. Helena and it's oil is great. We also liked BR Cohn's oil in Glen Ellyn (I think) in Sonomoa Co.

There is a great place in St Helena - right on the highway and across the road from the Coppola winery.

Just before entering Glen Ellyn from the south there is a store specializing in olive oil and its production. All the olive oils are local, and you can have a taste before buying.

We enjoyed the small place near Benzinger Vineyards in the Glen Ellen area: The Olive Press. They've been featured on a couple TV shows, and were very friendly and knowledgable. To "taste and buy," but I did not see any access to the production process.

A very good tour and taste can be found
at McEvoy Ranch in the gorgeous rolling hills just outside my home in Petaluma (Sonoma County)

You'll need reservations and a cc to hold-hopefully they will have your dates
Enjoy!

We love this place and sometimes make a special trip from SF to refill our bottles.

We're also fans of L'olivier of Sonoma. We cook with their olive oil and also like their infused olive oils: Toasted Parmesan and Garlic dipping oil blend for topping good bread is great with a glass of good red wine and their Toasted Garlic Oil adds a nice flavor to pasta or seafood. If you can't get to Sonoma, it's available through Williams-Sonoma.
