Too many places- I'm getting fat! Yes, I love Bison's soup. Did you catch the name? Bison Witches (Buy Sandwiches) Barry's bit the dust too. Heard he has a new place on Hefner lake now. The chain spots are often fast and easy with kids.

Today we went to Zorba's Mediterranean Cuisine on N May. We went there last year too because it is always rated the best Greek in OKC. The chicken k-bobs and hummus are good. I still prefer the greek salad and gyros of The Greek House in Norman. (If it's still there, haven't driven by.)

Next I'm heading to Guthrie. What's up there?

A couple of years ago, a friend and I enjoyed dinner in Guthrie, but I don't recall the name. A favorite, I've heard though, is Granny Had One. If you're in the mood for a little mystery, the Stone Lion Inn serves up a murder mystery evening.

Sorry, I was mistaken about boots in Stockyards City. Places are Little Joe's and Langston's.

Other dining notes:

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art's Museum Cafe offers a nice prix fixe pre-theater menu, as well as gourmet lunches.

Another terrific pre-theater dining option is the cozy La Luna, a Mexican restaurant on Reno.

For spring rolls, few places do them better than Bien Hoa in Little Saigon on NW 23rd.

For great live music and appetizers, VZD's is the place to go. It's also part of the N. Western district.
