OK Wow! Best website for airline tickets!?
Wow! I went away for a few weeks and Fodors has a new look!!!
Anyway, Can someone please offer advice on the best website for airfare? We want to go to San Juan April 4-11! There are 4 of us! And when in your opinion is the best time to buy tickets?
Thanks in advance!

Kayak.com is good, but it doesn't include all airlines, like Southwest. But it's a good tool to use, in addition to checking all the airlines' sites. I'd recommend you buy your tickets direct from the airlines, not through a broker, in case there are any problems you can deal directly with the airline.

I concur w/the two prior posters. It is a starting point but not inclusive of all airlines. If you will just be in San Juan, it should suffice. If you intend to hop around the Caribbean, you'll want to check Liat & Win-Air as well.

Kayak.com
Orbitz has a fare calendar which is helpful, you can search 30-60 days in advance
SideStep.com (which is owned by Kayak and moves faster IMO)
Plus check out sites like:
AirfareWatchdog.com
NomadicAndy.blogspot.com
ShermansTravel.com
Travelzoo.com
all advertise sales, often times that are not even advertised by the companies themselves.
