Oct trip to Bryce/Zion/Torrey
Planning a Oct trip leaving 10/9 from LV and returning to LV 10/15. Two adults traveling by car. We need help planning our itenerary.
We are planning on driving from LV to Zion for 2 night stay. Then one night in Bryce followed by 2 nights in Boulder. I am not sure where we should stay the last night. We will have to drive back to LV on Friday to catch a 5pm flight.
Interested in beautiful scenery, short hikes, photography.
Is 2 nights in Boulder too long? Where else can we visit before we head back to LV.
Any routes, suggestions for improvements, or additional advise would be appreciated.
Thank you

What do you plan to do in Boulder, Utah for almost 2 days? Four wheel drive? Burr Trail? The Anasazi State Park will take only a couple of hours. Hike Calf Creek Falls Trail?
You mentioned Torrey in the topic. It's almost 50 miles from Boulder, Utah to Capitol Reef. I think you would be better off spending one night in Boulder and two nights in Torrey to visit Capitol Reef National Park.
Torry to Las Vegas is only 350 miles & about 6 hours, once you get back on I-15.
You will be in for a real treat as far as scenery. It's a photographers dream. My favorite short hikes in Zion are the Riverside Walk (2miles round trip and very easy) Lower and Middle Emeral Pool (upper Emeral Pool but it's a little harder) and Weeping Rock. Bryce the Navajo - Queen's Garden Loop isn't to bad. (about 3 miles) Capitol Reef the Grand Wash and Capitol Gorge are nice and easy hikes. Driving Hwy 12 is very scenic!

Thanks for the advise. I am not sure we want to drive 6 hours back to LV in one day. Do you have a suggestion that would cut our drive back to LV? Should we not stay in boulder and stay 2 night in Torrey and then the last night 3-4 hours out of LV. IS it best to take the same route back to LV or can you suggest another route to get back to LV airport.
Any suggetion on a nice B&B in Torrey.

Hwy 12 is the most scenic route back to Las Vegas. I never get tired of driving that road and you will see a different view heading back. How about spending the last night back in Zion. It's only 160 miles back to LV (approx. 3 hrs driving.)
I'm not sure why you choose Boulder, UT in the first place. There are things to do in the area but if you're plan was to see Capitol Reef, then I would choose Torrey.
We have a motorhome, so we camp. Hopefully, other will be able to tell you about B&B's.
