Ocean City, MD - No reservations

I am staying in OC the first weekend of June and am thinking of choosing a hotel when I get there. Will I be able to find a room with relative ease? Thanks.

Even though it is still early in the season...you might have a problem unless you are really open to whatever you can find. Why do you want to wait? If your plans are not fixed..then I would risk it. If not..book now..that is still low season and the rates can be very reasonable.

Warning- early June is often high school graduation vacation time for the kids of Washington and Baltimore. Ocean City is liable to be filled with newly graduated high schoolers.

"The Season" in OC starts on Memorial Day. Admittedly, you'd have less trouble booking on the fly in June than you would in July and August but why wait and more importantly, why spend valuable time chasing after a room?

I'm thinking of winging it because I had several experiences where my hotel's quality was not as high as it's website made it out to be and found better hotels with vacancies close by.

Any hotel recommendations for Ocean City? Looking for a something with a ocean view. Thanks.

I don't know where you are looking, but I;ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront hotel and it is very nice (w/kitchenettes). I stopped looking for OC hotels once I stayed there.
