Oakland airport parking

Is it worth the extra cost to park at the airport itself, or are the off-site lots just as good? Any suggestions about which off-site lot to use?

I would suggest using the nearby parking companies as we have, it's much cheaper than the on site parking.
I think we used PCA (parking co. of America)? there are quite a few of them.
Not too much trouble either.

PCA is now called fastrack or something similar. Here's the link. It's the best combination of convenience and price (much less expensive than ParkNFly).

mmmm....I don't know dmlove-I just did a comparison at Park' n Flys site for OAK and it shows them cheaper than Fastrack. My example was 7 days.

In any event we have been happy with Park 'n Fly at Oak-especially when they are busy !

Well, that was strange-I got a on day rate of 11.50 for self park at Fastrack and 12.50 for park n Fly-yet I got a rate of 75.00 for 7 days at P 'n F and 85.00
at Fastrack. So, I guess it depends on how long you park.

I wonder if one went up and one went down. I think we paid $13.00 a day at Park N Fly in July and only $9.00 at FastTrack in September. Don't remember details, though.
