I know there's a great one on or near Lanikai Beach in Kailua, but I forgot the name!

I live over there and haven't heard of any great B&B's. I see many signs for vacation rentals.

Hello Islandmom....Thanks for your reply. The B & B doesn't have to be great, just as nice as possible. OR, what else and where is there nice lodging on the Windward side? Lodging for one and for one week is needed.

You can rent an apartment for a week on the windward side through vacation rentals by owner, www.vrbo.com. We rented one for 4 nights in January and were very pleased, especially since the one we rented had its own washer and dryer which comes in very handy in the second week of a vacation. As with anything like that, you really have to pay attention to what you're getting.
