I'm taking my daughter to LV for her 21st birthday. We will also be traveling with my mother who has been to LV before. Dear daughter is very fond of Cirque de Soleil, so I'm not sure which show would be the best to choose since we've seen quite a few and really like the acrobatics. I'm leaning towards O, but she also likes the Beatles music...I've also heard great thing about Le Reve!

They are all great. You can't go wrong. Why not ask your daughter which one she wants most to see? Then, instead of being surprised (and perhaps disappointed), she can enjoy anticipating this treat you have in store for her (and you can be certain you made the right choice).

I haven't seen Le Reve, but loved O, and found Love sadly without any semblance of a circus. The music was good, but we didn't pay for a musical

We've seen 5 Vegas Cirque shows and Love is our favorite. We thought O was just OK (pun intended). Like HappyTrail mentioned, it's really hard to go wrong. However, Chris Angel is the one exception. I truly would not recommend it even if they were giving tickets away (which they may be doing now?). Enjoy!

We were in Las Vegas two weeks ago and saw LOVE, we didn't see O or Le Reve, but can attest to the fact that Love was awesome!! I will admit that it is also alot about the music, I am not a HUGE Beatles fan, but hubby is, I go back and see this show again without hesitation.

I've seen both O and Le Reve (the latter is NOT a Cirque du Soleil production, though it is similar in style). I preferred O myself, but Le Reve is pretty similar. I have not seen Love and wouldn't unless I could get discount tickets.

The only thing I would say is that for most Cirque du Soleil shows, tickets up front aren't always the best. There's typically a lot going on on-stage, and you need a little distance to get some perspective.

We've seen at least five Cirque shows in Atlanta and love the music and acrobatics...not to mention the sheer strength needed for some of the stunts. My son vowed to get back to working out after one show!!!

I've heard several comments about Love missing the Circus aspect, so I'm a little hesitant. I realize that O and Le Reve are very similar, but I find it interesting that the venue for Le Reve was built specifically for that show. Of course...that may be the case for many of these, I don't know.

To complicate matters, I guess there is also an Elvis show. DD is way too young to know much about Elvis, but she does have a strange fascination with him that might make it necessary to include that show in the options as well.

I have seen O and Love but not Le Reve. If you enjoy the acrobatics I would say definitely see O and not Love. My DH and I were both so disappointed with Love and he's a HUGE Beatles fan. There are hardly any acrobatics in Love but O has a ton of them and the set (pool)is just amazing. I have really never seen anything like it and cannot express to you enough how much I enjoyed "O".

Le Reve is simply stunning, and to me a little different from the norm in Shows. I think it is the perfect production for someone turning 21.

I would agree that you really cannot go wrong if you have to pick one of the three.

Le Reve has quite a bit of ballroom dancing in addition to the usual "Cirque" performances - all breathtaking and stunning. The theater is positively amazing.

If you're going in the hot weather, I'd pick whichever is closest to where you're staying and/or wherever is most convenient to your pre/post dining preference.

I appreciate all our your input. I don't know if I need to book tickets for these shows now, or if I can wait a little while and possibly get some discounts.

It appears that any of the 3 shows mentioned will end up running about $500 for 3 of us at this point in time. I would love to know if I can wait and be likely to get better prices closer to August...what do you all think?

You can wait. If you've not done so, check / sign-up on the cirque website. I've seen 25% discounts for Love. Also view the hotel website to check for discounts & specials....I've seen discounts to Le Reve on the Wynn site. FYI- you truly do not need to buy the best tickets....

I have to say, I was really impressed by Love. I have seen "0" twice and not seen La Reve. I always look at the resident shows as doing things they can't do on the road show, so "O" would fit the bill there, but I thought the music and acts in Love were different in a good way.

If you aren't a Club Cirque member, join and you will have more access to discounts. I got great ones last year when we went. Not sure if they are as desperate for customers now.

I also agree, you don't need the most expensive, I am what some will call cheap, so book at the second level at best.

In any event, have a good time.

They are all quite good. My personal favorite was Le Reve but Love would be great for a Beatles fan. Also for all these shows like others said I would not recommend getting the most expensive tickets. With Cirque type shows its better to sit somewhere in the middle, otherwise you will find yourself looking up all the time since so much happens above stage as well. You can find offers for all the shows above, keep checking smartervegas.com and travelzoo.com the offers seem to get extended.

Thanks all. I am a Club Cirque member but have not found any great deals yet. I don't mind seats below the top level, but I don't want an obstructed view.

I just signed up with Goldstar Events and tried to look up a couple of shows. Le Reve doesn't have any dates, but Blue Man Group does, but ony thru end of July. The prices look good, but it appears you won't know where your seats will be at the time you credit card is charged. Is that the case?

I realized that Le Reve wasn't a Cirque show, but we'd seen so many Cirque productions that we went with Le Reve and were not disappointed! I'm sure O would have been fabulous, but we wanted something different. We got discounted tkts thru TravelZoo and were seated right on the aisle where the performers enter for certain acts. In the case of Le Reve...further from the stage is better...as a matter of fact the most expensive seats are the furthest from the stage!!!

I have seen all three and by far O is the best overall!
