we'll have about 3 hours for this adventure in our favorite city on earth!!!!

The best and cheaper parking areas are on 8th Ave or 9th Ave. Also check some of the side streets...in the high 40s to low 50s.
Madame Tussards on 42nd Street near 8th Ave. Fun for adults and kids.
Grand Central Station...42nd St. and Lexington Ave. Great to visit and grab a quick bit.
If you are going to ride the city bus HAVE CORRECT CHANGE $1.50 or get a MetroCard.
There is also the ESPN Zone and a huge Toys R Us on Bdway and 44-45 Sts. Don't forget the huge Virgin Record Store...3 levels. Enough to keep everyone happy.
Another quick, fun and cheap restaurant is Ollies on 44 St. off Bdway. Great Chinese. John's Pizzeria 260 W. 44th St. The very best.
Have a great time.
Remember that Central Park begins at 59th St.

Central Park zoo is located just inside the park at 64th Street and 5th Ave. It opens at 10 on Sundays. Here's a link for them:

You can get the kids on TV by visiting the NBC TODAY shows (local and national) at their Rockefeller Center studio They usually have an outdoor event on Sundays.
Also the CBS NFL show is filmed at Noon at 59th & 5th Avenue (outside)next to FAO Swartz. Maybe too close to showtime for you though.
