NYC Restaurant Suggestion

I will be in NYC for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Anyone have a restaurant suggestion for dinner on Thanksgiving Day? Thanks!

For starters, you should search this forum for: NYC Thanksgiving dinner. There have been many posts asking about this.

You also didn't mention if you want a traditional meal or something different, what your price range is, is this for a family or adults only, any particular neighborhood or general area, etc.

If you check out opentable.com it will list many places that serve a traditional dinner, the times of seatings and if they still have any reservations open.

You might try Fraunces Tavern - downtown, moderate price traditional dinner with history added - this was Washington's headquarters in NYC and where he bade farewell to his troops at the end of the Revolutionary War. Food is good - not great - but very few places do great on Thanksgiving due to the mobs.

I like a place called "Sel et Poivre" -- it's on upper east side. French restaurant, they do thanksgiving dinner, and it's very very good. Intimate restaurant, sweet little place. Not sure the exact address, but you can google it to find out location. Enjoy!

Here's their website, as they were one of the places I'm looking into for my visit to NYC next month:

Patis in the meat packing area. Not sure about their Thanksgiving dinner in particular and if they have one.
