Trip report to follow. However, here's a preview.

Beautiful - I loved it! I'm old enough to know and enjoy Carole King music. However, I didn't know the backstory of her years before she was a solo artist. Loved the music, the staging, and the lighting.

Forbidden Broadway - I was surprised how small the theater was - maybe a hundred people. We were in the third row and I could have touched the stage if I stretched a bit. It was good fun and the actors in the show were talented.

I read somewhere that If/Then is the only new Broadway show this season with an original score. I thought that was interesting.

Don't believe everything you read! Rocky, Bridges of Madison County, Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and Big Fish are all Broadway musicals this season with original scores.

Thanks Neopatrick. Maybe I skimmed too quickly. Thanks for letting me know, because I hate to pass along incorrect information.
