nyc broadway play for 4 thirty yr. old

parents of 4 thirty yr olds. who enjoy the city, but have different ideas of what they would like to see on broadway.. all of them like a musical. suggested "movin out" but said they could listen to billy joel album. " light in the piazza" might be too sappy for my "macho" guys. they saw chicago. not interested in "spamalot". family's favorite play has been "wicked" we feel it appeals to everyone. can someone suggest a play to see the last weekend of september. not worried about availability. thank you, bg

I say The Producers sounds like the right choice -- funny, dirty or sexy enough for the "macho" guys, glitzy and big enough for all to enjoy, and a definite for laughs.

The three shows recommended are an excellent starting point. Any one of the three should fill the bill.
