North Carolina Mountains Cabin Rental Ideas

Does anyone have any suggestions for cabin rentals in the North Carolina mountains? I would prefer a cabin resort over a private individual owner with the cabin stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks!

I love the area and the restaurant is wonderful!

Cataloochie Ranch west of Asheville is fantastic. There's also a cool little place near Highlands that I think is called 7 Foxes or such.

Several of the motels in Blowing Rock have a few cabins on their properties. Chetola also has a lot of options for lodging.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at a 1 BR, 2 BA cabin that is rented by a private owner, but it is in a "resort". The cabin is called Creekside Cabin; the owners also have one called Viewpoint Cabin. It is in Leatherwood Mountains Resort; the owners' website is uniquemountaincabins.com, but I originally found it on Homeaway.com under Boone listings. What we liked best was throwing away our plans to explore & just sitting by the creek! The master bathroom is like its own spa - just beautiful!
