NIagara Falls - Activities for Teens?

We are going to be in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side for a day and a half this weekend. We are going to do the Maid of the Mist and Skylon Tower. We've already seen enough Ripley's & Tussauds in other places. If anyone out there has been to NF recently with younger teenage boys, what activities did they enjoy best? Also, which tranquilizers do you use to get through trips with teenagers?

Maybe Marineland? I haven't been so I can't say whether it is worth it but it is close by.

Or a jet boat tour. It is supposed to be sunny and in the mid60s this weekend. Here is a link for it: http://www.whirlpooljet.com/

With young teenage boys, you have to spend at least a few hours on Clifton Hill... You don't have to go into the museums, but there are dozens of teen arcades, mini golf, shops and attractions... a recent visitor with us said that if there was a Heaven for teens, it would look like Clifton Hill... There are also 3 water parks, Imax Movie attractions, Motion simulators, and theme restaurants...

Also consider a walk to Goat Island on the US side(passports required)... that gives you a close up look at the water as it goes over the Falls and the Cave of the Winds attraction, where you go to the base of the Falls and experience the power of the water up close... also there's a ion charge from the water that may help you avoid the tranquilizers...

Definitely agree with the whirlpool jet above! They have uncovered ones ( you get very wet) and covered ones. The kids will love, love, love it! Also, cross over to the States side and go to Goat Island and do Cave of the Winds http://www.niagarafallsstatepark.com...fTheWinds.aspx Have fun. I love Niagara Falls.

Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe may interest them, both on Canadian side.

Our teen and preteens really enjoyed the Niagra River (parkside) just above the falls on the American side. Lovely scenery and a real feel for the power and magnitude of the falls.

About tranquilizers We let them take turns in picking a location/activity. Make sure they have some money and know how to get back to the hotel, just in case...
