We've had good luck with it--have stayed there around six times in around 15 trips to NYC. It's one of our favorite locations, and the hotel rooms, while not exactly large, are rather decent for New York. If you got a good price, go for it.

I stayed there once -- a long time ago, and my main complaint was how thin the walls were and how much noise I could here. I was once discussing this with a lady who told me that she and her husband were there. During the night she awoke to her husband lying next to her, coughing and almost choking. She kept saying, "are you all right?" But he didn't answer. She turned on the light to find him soundly sleeping. Seems the guy coughing and choking was in the room next to theirs!
Great location, though.

Please post your winning Priceline/Hotwire Hotels:

www.thenassaus.com/forums

I would encourage everyone who uses Priceline and/or Hotwire to post their results so we'll all have lots of experiences of others to peruse when booking our own hotel rooms and be able to bid more intelligently on Priceline and find out which hotels Hotwire is using.

I've stayed there many, many times for for business and personal stays. It's a fine property, and if you got it through Priceline, I'm sure you'll get your money's worth.
Great location.

www.biddingfortravel.com has reviews of Priceline hotels. The NY Hotel & Towers is one of the hotels reviewed. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com for hotel reviews & recent winning priceline bids.

One thing that really annoys me about this hotel is that the elevators have televisions in them that are extremely loud. Everyone is immediately drawn to them like zombies, any chance of conversation with the people you're with ends, and you are forced to listen to the inane chatter of CNN newsanchors. It's a minor complaint for sure, but it's the first thing I think of whenever I hear mention of this hotel.
