New York City to Hawaii airfare

I find myself needing to travel to NYC for business in Sept. I pride myself in find great deals b/w OGG and LAX, which I fly regularly, but there are so many options to NYC that I really don't have the time to research right now.

I'm just wondering what kind of fares and on what airlines have you all found (off season) b/w NYC to Maui or Honolulu?

Oops, I guess I should add that although price is one consideration, I am also looking for input on convenience and comfort on such a long flight. Since I'll not have the luxury of recovery time, I'll need to be rested enough to go right to work when I get there. Any input is welcome.

JohnD, yes, I paid $145.90 each for two RT tickets to Hawaii = $291.80. And then there was this lovely voucher upon my return. I'm Irish after dark.

Budman -- What an awesome deal! I was one of the people trying to get that deal...the computer kept saying $145 for BOS-HNL, but wouldn't let me book it. I should have tried EWR, since that's what a lot of people on Flyer Talk ended up with!
