New Year's Eve Concert

The New York Festival Singers have a new venue for the annual New Year's Eve concert, St. Paul's (60th and Amsterdam) just south of Lincoln Center.

The concert will be a full orchestral presentation of Beethoven's 9th symphony with well known soloists and a concert chorus of 150 singers.

We have been part of the Concer for Peace at St. John the Divine for 15 years, but we were told this year that our services are not longer required (oh don't get me started),
so we are taking our wonderful choir to a new venue and St. Paul's was thrilled to have the opportunity to do this program.

Tickets are not required, and you are welcome to give a donation at the door if you wish.

If you are intersted in coming please let me know and we can do a sort of small GTG afte concert.

Oh and the concert starts at 7pm and we will be out by 9, so lots more time for celebration.

The last couple of years i was thrilled ot have several Fodorites come to the Concert for Peace at St John's and we all went out to dinner after.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful holiday season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you enjoy your new New Year's Eve home. I think St. Paul's is very fortunate to have you!

Happy New Year to you too, travelbuff.

I'm glad your group has found a new home. I'm sure I have heard you sing - and maybe even seen you, albeit unknowingly - b/c I attended the concert at St. John's for about 7 years straight, till about 3 years ago. Maybe one of these years I'll get to St. Paul's.

Enjoy your evening.
