I havent seen it yet but it sounds fun. I like flying Southwest...everyone seems happy and laid back, yet professional(in my experience). The very first time I flew on Southwest was years ago in college..Halloween week. All the flight attendants had pig masks on...I thought it was great..perhaps the drinks added to the humor!!

This show is really entertaining and even touching. This weeks episode involved a older man with Altzheimers who had an "accident" in his pants. The compasion shown by "Mike" the supervisor who was called to handle the situation was amazing. He had the mans luggage removed from the cargo hold and actually assisted the poor wife clean and change him. The other story line was regarding lost luggage. A couple had a missing bag and kept telling the girl at the lost luggage counter how the bag was very expensive and that their clothing was very expensive. Went on & on about not buying cheap clothing and never flying with Southwest again. The bag was found after a 30 minute wait and they still insisted on showing the girl the expensive $279.00 bag. I just hope when Mr Expensive clothes has an accident in his pants someone shows him the compassion he deserves!

I just saw "Airline". I can not fathom a family with a heart patient who could die without her medication could put the life saving medicine on CHECKED BAGGAGE!!! Her baggage got sent on a plane without her and the family went nuts. da. How stupid can you be?
And how about that father of the navy recruit who supposedly forgot the ticket at home? He got all defensive when the agent offered him a full refund of his "lost" ticket if he would buy a new one. No way he had a purchased ticket.

jor...was thinking the same thing about the meds!! I always carry my most important items in carry-on, which worked to my advantage when my luggage got left behind last summer on a flight. (They delivered it the next day.)
Also what is with all these people with medical conditions not checking beforehand if they will encounter any problems?? Plus the sick woman in the wheelchair with the meds' relative said they waited an hour for a wheelchair??!! If that was the case, she should have her own wheelchair, or in an hours time she could have made it to the gate on the crutches she had! Then again, I'm just a typical impatient stubborn New Yorker....LOL

Janis, Opps! I live in Central time and thought since I have satelite TV it came on at the same time everywhere. I don't know if DirectTV and local cable broadcast the same way.
I also saw the rerun with the jerk with the gun he wanted to get on the plane. He treated everyone like inferior dirt who questioned his precious gun. Thought he was a real pig when he asked if he looked Arab. No. he looked and acted like an angry psycho trying to get a gun on an airplane!

Janis, Don't read this yet!
I pitty the guy who gets stuck with the drunk witch on her way to her wedding. I hope she never got there.
As for the woman with the wedding dress which got run over on the tarmack. Oh S***. That actually happened to me with a hand stiched wall hanging from my aunt. It had tire tracks on it just like the wedding dress!!! All hell broke lose for days.
The man who arrived too late on his way to propose to his girl friend did everything right. a good mood goes a long way. I would have taken the hundred bucks and given him my seat.

Hi Janis. You did it again, didn't you.
That drunk old man was yet another drunk who shows up at the ticket counter. I can't believe how many drunks there are.
The little twit who budged in line should have gotten slapped or something by the black woman he insulted. His boy friend knew enough to keep his mouth shut. I think boy friend should reconsider his relationship with the twit. \

Aaarrg! The guy who was on his way for his son's operation left the gate to cop a smoke at the last minute. The idiot missed the flight and was offered a later flight but decided to go back to the bar and came back the next morning. He guilt tripped the desk agent because of his own addiction to tobacco.

Oh my gosh, they had me laughing last night. I couldn't believe the woman changing her clothes in the airport. How disgusting. Then the father who leaves the airport for a smoke then complains and curses out the reservationist because he missed his flight? HELLO!!! If it was that urgent to be with your son, you would've had your butt in the airport waaayy before your flight time. Some people I tell ya.

Janis, I didn't get to see much more than the smoking dad part, but saw the second half hour.
luvtravelin2, The smoking Dad didn't arrive late at the air port. He left the boarding area to get one last drag on a cigarette and didn't get back in time. That's why I made the comment about tobacco addiction.
Ex tobacco user.
